Laichen Studio offers wheel thrown, hand built and press mold pots that are typically oxidation fired in an electric kiln in our home studio, or high fired in a wood fired kiln, achieving reduction affects of varying degrees. No two pots are alike. We offer a range of unglazed, glazed, and natural ash glaze pots to suit the needs of various trees. Longevity is important to us, so each piece is quality checked for unintentional flaws and imperfections (intentional imperfections are aplenty), and feet are ground smooth post firing so they are safe on sensitive surfaces.
